Add info pointing towards new git repo.
Read-only access can be obtained via:

git clone git://git.shaftnet.org/linux-wlan-ng.git

gitweb access can be obtained via:

http://git.shaftnet.org/git/gitweb.cgi?p=linux-wlan-ng.git;a=summary

The git repo is a direct conversion of the svn repo, and as such has the
(nearly) complete development history of linux-wlan-ng.

I'll keep the old repo around for a few months.

Hi and a Happy New Year,
It seems like the gitweb access is broken, "404 - No such project".

Hi and a Happy New Year,
It seems like the gitweb access is broken, "404 - No such project".
I just discovered there was a lot of activity in
http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=history;f=drivers/staging/wlan-ng
a few days ago, but I guess the old code is not going to be obsolete
that soon?

Thanks,
Tormod

I think the code will become obsolete when it's replaced by modern code
or when the supported hardware becomes exceedingly rare. All the
changes are just cleanups.

By the way, I don't see much point in having non-USB code in the staging
tree, as the functionality is already supported by orinoco and hostap.

Hi Pavel,
Solomon has already removed all of the non USB code, so the staging
driver is just for USB in the latest git head.

I did have the staging driver working nicely although it doesn't support
firmware loading (yet?), but I haven't tried it for a couple of weeks.

But rebuilding it & testing it is on my list of things to do ;)

regards
Richard

Thanks for the note. It's fixed now.
