add_timer bug

Hi,

I saw in one of the email thread posted that someone has encountered
the add_timer() triggered bug. Someone has advised to use the
development head. I apoligized for this question, but can someone tell
what exactly does it mean? is their any patch available for the
add_timer functionality?
