Patches that Work For Me with kernel 2.6.17.7

Hi,

To those on the "user" list: I've seen a couple of bug reports (even sent
one myself) about build failures with kernel 2.6.17.x relating to
Modules.symver, but no mention of the patch that was floating around on
the devel list:
http://lists.linux-wlan.com/pipermail/linux-wlan-devel/attachments/20060508/e25e690b/make-2.6.17.bin

To those on the "devel" list: I got a compile failure with 2.6.17.7 which
is fixed by the attached patch. I have no idea when that field of the
struct changed so I don't know if I'm checking the right kernel version,
but it Works For Me (tm). Sorry, I don't have time today to do it
right...

To all: is there sufficient traffic on these lists to justify two separate
lists (especially if things like patches don't diffuse from devel to
user). Personally, I wouldn't at all mind a merged list.

Cheers,
dstn.

A related patch was applied on March 30th (svn r1770) -- The actual
change happened in 2.6.16-rc.

svn://shaftnet.org/linux-wlan-ng/trunk

As soon as I finish pcmcia support for 2.6.16 kernels, we'll see another
release. (2.6.17+ pcmcia is present now)
